The Royal Arch Masons Prostate Cancer
Fund is a project of the Royal
Arch Masons of Saskatchewan in conjunction with the
Canadian Prostrate Cancer Network (CPCN).
It’s purpose is to raise funds to increase the awareness of
prostate cancer. To educate people in
Saskatchewan about it’s devastating effects, about the research
that is done in order to cure it and prevent it and how to live with
this disease.
The Canadian Prostate Cancer Network speaks for thousands
of men and their families who, each year, are diagnosed with prostate
cancer. With our 120 affiliated support groups (5 in Saskatchewan)
across Canada we: |
- help individuals and their families understand and cope with
prostate cancer by providing up to date medical information and
individual support
- lobby for increased funding for research, treatment facilities
and programs
- promote the importance of early detection through public awareness
campaigns
